1000 Hygiene Kits: Let’s Keep It Simple

Please, don’t be overwhelmed by this goal. You don’t have to single-handedly put together 1000 hygiene kits. Here are some simple ideas for doing your part:

  • Have everyone in your community group or athletic team or PTA group (you get the idea ;)) contribute one item off the list.
  • Ask your local grocery store if they would be willing to donate bandages, wipes, toothpaste and other items for putting together hygiene kits.
  • Need to clear out your garage? How about hosting a garage sale and sending the proceeds to GAiN for hygiene kits in Haiti!
  • DO YOU HAVE OTHER IDEAS FOR KEEPING THIS PROJECT SIMPLE AND ATTAINABLE? Please share:

This is Really Not About You . . .

Not entirely, anyway :)
Maybe you’ve already done your part to help. Maybe you’ve got something in the works. But DON’T FORGET the 10, or 20, or 100 people in your circle who would like to help somehow but are not quite sure how to start. Or those for whom —- amidst the din of everything else that’s going on -- the crisis in Haiti has faded into the background.
THE NEED IS GREAT, AND NO HELP IS TOO SMALL. We can’t all go to Haiti, friends, but Haiti can feel our presence.
