Please, don’t be overwhelmed by this goal. You don’t have to single-handedly put together 1000 hygiene kits. Here are some simple ideas for doing your part:
- Have everyone in your community group or athletic team or PTA group (you get the idea ;)) contribute one item off the list.
- Ask your local grocery store if they would be willing to donate bandages, wipes, toothpaste and other items for putting together hygiene kits.
- Need to clear out your garage? How about hosting a garage sale and sending the proceeds to GAiN for hygiene kits in Haiti!
